Why Should I Consider Alpha Academy?

Alpha Academy is not designed for “at-risk” students. So… who exactly is Alpha Academy designed for?

We have several “profiles” of potential students, but in reality our students come from all over the place. The common element for all of our students is simply that they lack a plan for their lives.

It could be as simple as the recent high school graduate who has no college plans and no job lined up. For him, Alpha Academy is the ideal place to figure out what to do next. Or for the college freshman who realizes that he has no idea what he wants to do for the rest of his life. Rather than waste time and money changing majors, he could come to Alpha Academy, discover what he really wants to do, and re-enter college with a clear focus.

Our most important requirement is that a student must want to be here: he is here because he wants to learn all he can while at Alpha Academy.

Some of our students have been pointed completely in the wrong direction, but have been through some kind of program, and are now ready to try again. For them, Alpha is a good transition from a very structured environment, to one where they learn to make decisions for themselves.
