Kyle Gillette, Alpha Academy Director

Working here at Alpha Academy over the last 5 years has been a wonderful experience, from house leader to pet resort manager, and now director, it has been exciting to see Alpha and Thousand Hills grow.

In the last 5 years I have seen what it takes from both Jack and the former Director to help the students that come here. With my experience as a house leader and as the former Resort Manager I know what the students are going through and can relate to them very easily.

Before I came to Alpha I grew up in a small town on an orange farm in Dinuba, CA. I loved it. Hard work, hot days and lots of oranges led me to San Luis Obispo to study Kinesiology at Cal Poly, upon graduation I worked as a house leader and Personal Trainer in town.

As I grew here and in training I realized my passion lies with helping people. As this passion has grown, I spend time learning how to relate with students through experience and continuing education and I look forward to each day with the students here, and for the new students to come.
